When Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson met at their church in Hamburg they realized that there was no turning back. Ashley was 17 and she'd never been with a man prior to that. They took the relationship very slow. However, it was true romance at first sight. Andrew was praying to God during New Year's Day just prior to the start of 2016. He demanded God for one final favor for the year to see Ashley decide to marry him and that she would be married. Ashley was determined to create an event with a traditional wooden theme that could truly reflect her as well as Andrew. In order to create the perfect wedding, they took a bit from everything they adore. The wedding venue was the 40 acres back of the property Ashley has grown up on. Ashley explored the area and enjoyed herself on everything, starting from the way they walked to the field where they made vows. In addition, Andrew and Ashley were walking around across the field several times since they first started dating. Being that the wedding was essentially homemade, personalization played a big role. Ashley designed and painted a lot of the decorations. Andrew Ashley's dad and Andrew made the seating and ceremony arch. Ashley declares, "Our wedding would not have been the dreamy experience I've always imagined had Anna's stunning floral arrangements had not been put in place." Absolutely stunning.
